Chongqing, Xinhua, March 1 After the start of spring, late citrus harvest season, in Qinglong village, Dasheng Town, Yubei District, Chongqing city, 2,000 mu of sloping orchard, heavy tangers hang on the branches. This harvest of citrus forest, located in the country’s first hilly digital unmanned orchard.

In 2022, the No. 1 document of the CPC Central Committee pointed out that great efforts should be made to build digital villages. We will promote the development of smart agriculture and promote the integrated application of information technology and agricultural machinery and techniques. Xinhuanet “Village Revitalization in Action” research team went into the countryside of Chongqing to observe the new development window of Chongqing smart agriculture.

Technology investment makes agriculture smarter

With the roar of a motor, a large plant-protection drone comes from a distance, hovers over the trees and sprinkles a nutrient solution on individual trees.

A “small climate monitoring station” on the mountainside, a number of sensor equipment, real-time monitoring of the orchard temperature, humidity, wind speed, rainfall, light intensity and other data information, so that citrus production and breed cultivation to achieve “early climate information, production operations are prepared”;

In the office building below the hillside, the staff click the mouse, and all the information of the orchard, from planting scale to tree age, soil environment to growth analysis, as well as temperature, humidity, wind speed and other external environmental data, are displayed on the big screen…

Qinglong village residency Chen Mingfang introduction, first secretary of the will, through the “hilly mountain orchard management platform”, the orchard mainland piece of 3 d model data, environmental data, crop physiological data, plot attribute data, such as a comprehensive gathering fusion, can be speculated that the output of each tree fruit body in advance, and through the remote sensing characteristic spectrum analysis of intelligent analysis and diagnosis, So as to achieve the whole process of accurate management.

In recent years, around the innovation of agricultural science and technology, various localities have built smart agriculture management systems and set up smart agriculture test bases. A series of new technologies have enabled smart agriculture to take root and sprout in the vast rural areas.

Many new scenes of smart agriculture can be found in Chongqing. From “physical work” to “intellectual work”, from “watching the weather” to “relying on technology” to increase income, mobile phones and drones have become “new agricultural tools”, and digital and information have become “new agricultural resources”.

“In the past, raising cattle mainly depends on people, but now raising cattle depends more on technology and equipment!” Yin Chuwei, head of Tianhe Ranch in Taihe Town, Hechuan District, said accurate feeding is key to ensuring the quality of milk produced by more than 600 cows in the ranch. “In the past, you had to manually calculate the proportions of different feeds every day, making it difficult to accurately feed.” Yin Chuwei said.

Nowadays, with the help of smart technology, staff only need on the computer remote sending instructions, feed at each point in time can be for accurate monitoring of weight and categories of the feed, feed processing mixed fully automated, can accurately will feed into the every barn, reduce the artificial calculation error and feeding error.

Agricultural product benefit promotes consumer to set his mind at rest

The most important criterion to test the effect of rural industrial development and revitalization is the level of its benefits.

Big data and intelligence not only bring profound changes to the production management of traditional planting and breeding industry, but also bring opportunities to break through traditional limitations in the whole agricultural production process from planting decision to product traceability.

In Chongqing Meicun Science and Technology Co., LTD., the staff only need to log in an APP system, can see at a glance the national representative agricultural products origin and price information, crop current growth situation, planting area, estimated price, the nearby agricultural products sales market and other information.

The system comprehensively integrates domestic land data, planting data, transaction data and other information. At the same time, according to the big data model, it automatically forms crop growth statements and prompts planting risks, predicts market prices, and makes use of real-time data to help users make decisions in every link from “planting” to “selling”.

At present, the platform integrates more than 300,000 large farmers and more than 3 million small farmers, covering more than 3,000 kinds of agricultural products. Through the collaborative mode of orders, the platform connects users upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and the annual transaction volume exceeds 3 billion yuan, radiating to 18 provinces in China.

In Ersheng Kangxin Tea Garden, Banan District, Chongqing, the local government cooperated with China Telecom and other enterprises to build a “digital village blockchain intelligent management platform” and build a digital trust environment for smart agriculture relying on blockchain technology.

Chongqing Ming in section 2 SAN tea group chairman zhang, terminal consumers only need to open the phone now scan tea commodity bar code, can view the harvest, production and sale, at the same time to get test report and information to a third party such as climate, intuitive understanding of the local tea brand “banan silver needle” planting production process.

“Empowered by blockchain technology, agricultural products are fully transparent from the field to the tip of the tongue, effectively relieving consumers’ doubts.” Zhang Jie Ming said.

New technologies, new opportunities and new space

In the “experimental field” of future agriculture, intelligence also brings more possibilities and opportunities. In chongqing academy of agricultural sciences’ modern agricultural hi-tech park, there is a fish and vegetables “fish food symbiotic AI factory”, vegetable cultivation, plant diseases and insect pests of checking and monitoring vital signs, fish bait fish precision feeding not only realized the intellectualized operation, such as fish poop into water soluble fertilizer by water processing, has realized the full use of planting and raising cycle.

Vegetable cultivation in the factory adopts intelligent three-dimensional cultivation technology. Vegetables such as leeks and chrysanthemum coronarium, which used to grow in the field, are now grown on the planting rack, and the yield can be increased several times more than that of traditional open-field cultivation. The whole process from “a seed to a vegetable” is unmanned, fertilization is controlled by intelligent computing, and farm work is contracted by robots.

According to the relevant person in charge of informatization in agriculture and rural areas in chongqing commission, in recent years, chongqing vigorously implement the “wisdom of agriculture, rural digital” construction project, the application of science and technology innovation actively, AI, 5 g, blocks of chains, and other modern information technology and agricultural robots, intelligent agricultural machinery such as innovation and technological achievements into digital agriculture construction step by step.

Since 2019, Chongqing has invested a total of 110 million yuan in municipal financial funds to build more than 200 municipal smart agriculture experiment and demonstration bases, with 41.18 million mu of facility cultivation, 8.6804 million head of livestock and poultry breeding, and 882 million mu of aquaculture basically realizing intelligent production.

The official said that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Chongqing will also focus on creating a number of digital planting, digital animal husbandry, digital fisheries, and is expected to add 200 smart agriculture experiment and demonstration bases by 2025 to build a smart agriculture service platform in the city.

The input of new technologies has gradually transformed agriculture from “physical labor” to “intellectual work”, improved efficiency and expanded the market, and made the road of rural revitalization more stable for the People of Bayu.
