Pyla Beach

Located in the Larnaka (Larnaca) district of Pyla, along Dhekelia Road, the beach of Pyla offers a complete day out for all the family, thanks to a host of facilities and the amenities of the surrounding area.

Dasoudi Beach – Blue Flag

Located in Germasogeia – the heart of the Lemesos (Limassol) tourist area – the 1 km long, Dasoudi Beach provides everything for the perfect day out, and is the townโ€™s most popular coastal strip.

The beach has golden sands, and clean and calm seawaters that deepen fairly quickly. Facilities on the beach include toilets, showers, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas, water sports and diving centre, beach volleyball court, childrenโ€™s playground, bicycle station and even an Olympic size swimming pool.

The beach has a small forest (โ€˜dasoudiโ€™ in Greek) running adjacent to it with a beautiful footpath trailing through it. As such, it is a favourite for strolling, jogging and relaxing on the periodic benches.

Agia Thekla Beach – Blue Flag

A beautiful natural beach.

Located 6,5 km west of the centre of the popular resort of Agia Napa, the 300-metre long beach of AgiaThekla is a beautiful coastal stretch that is located within the SPA (special protected area) of the Natura 2000 network.

As a sandy, natural beach, it has a rocky bottom covered in fine, golden sands, and its crystal-clear seawaters are relatively calm.

Ammos tou Kambouri Beach – Blue Flag

A beach located by stunning sea caves.

Located 2 km east of the centre of the popular resort of Agia Napa, the 100-metre long beach of Ammos touKampouri sits between the stunning Agia Napa Sea Caves and Limnara beach.

The small, quiet beach is mostly rocky with a sandy centre that is covered in fine, golden sands. Its crystal-clear seawaters are moderately calm.

Vathia Gonia Beach – Blue Flag

Katsarka Beach – Blue Flag

Located 1 km west of the centre of the popular resort of Agia Napa, the 250-metre long beach of Katsarka is a rocky beach, covered in fine gravel with limited sandy parts and crystal-clear seawaters that are relatively calm.

Limnara (Kermia) Beach – Blue Flag

Beach with access to the beautiful Cape Gkreko National Forest Park.

Located 2 km from the centre of the popular resort of Agia Napa, within the Cape Gkreko National Forest Park, the 350-metre long beach of Limnara (Kermia) is a beautiful coastal stretch that is mostly positioned in front of a hotel complex.

The beach has fine, golden sands and calm, crystal-clear seawaters, with rock pools at the edge of the bay.

Konnos Beach – Blue Flag

Situated 4 km east of the centre of the popular resort of Agia Napa – on the road between Cape Gkreko and Protaras – the 200-metre long beach of Konnos is one of the most picturesque on the island.

The last beach delineating the boundaries between Agia Napa and Paralimni, Konnos is small and idyllic, and covered in fine golden sand. Its calm and crystal clear seawaters are sheltered from heavy winds.

Loukkostou Mandi Beach – Blue Flag

Located west of the picturesque harbour of Agia Napa, the 150-metre long beach of Loukostou Mandi offers the opportunity to combine a leisurely day at the beach with a boat trip or a stroll around the harbour.

The small, rocky beach consists of a mixture of patches covered with pebbles, and patches covered with fine golden sand. The crystal-clear seawaters are relatively calm.

Makronisos Beach – Blue Flag

A picturesque cluster of bays.

Located 5 km from the centre of the popular tourist resort of Agia Napa, the 350-metre long beach of Makronisos is actually a picturesque cluster of three bays, stretching from the well-sheltered Makronisos Beach.

With fine, golden sands and relatively calm, crystal clear seawaters, the small bays extend in different directions; out to the west, the southwest and the southeast. The southwestern part is within a special protected area of the Natura 2000 network.

Nissi Beach – Blue Flag

Located 3.3 km west of the centre of the popular tourist resort of Agia Napa, the 600-metre long beach of Nissi Beach is among the most famous in the region, attracting large crowds with its alluring combination of beautiful coast, music, bars and beach parties.

Covered in fine, golden sands, the beach is formed inside a natural bay, and has shallow and calm seawaters that are sheltered against winds. It forms part of the larger Nissi Beach area, and takes its name from the small island (โ€˜nissiโ€™ in Greek) that is located nearby.

Located 3.5 km west from the centre of the popular tourist resort of Agia Napa, the 300-metre long beach of Nissi Bay is famous for its small islet and its sand lane – a natural phenomenon that is a landmark in the region.

Comprised of coast and rocky formation on its central and western part, the beach has fine, golden sands and calm, crystal-clear seawaters that are sheltered against winds. It is considered among the most beautiful beaches on the island, thanks to the famous islet located a short distance from the coastline, whilst the beach of Makronisos is easily accessible, along with its archaeological site of the Makronissos Tombs.

Located east of the harbour of the popular tourist resort, Agia Napa, the 1,2 km long beach of Pantachou is the longest coastal strip in the region, starting from the harbour and stretching all the way to the beach of Glyki Nero.

Comprised of dark grey sands – that are compacted enough to suit jogging – and calm, clean waters, the beach is popular with all.

Aoratoi Beach – Blue Flag

A beach with a unique natural character.

Located in the โ€˜cosmopolitanโ€™ Pyrgos area of the Lemesos (Limassol) district, Aoratoi is a beach of particular natural beauty and an unusual coastal character, which is flanked by prestigious hotel accommodation.

Its unique combination of semi-circular sandy coves and large flat rocks run parallel to the shore, and the large, shallow pools of water make it especially ideal for children and toddlers. Its deeper waters can be accessed by a small jetty that goes over the rocks, and the sea tends to get wavy during the afternoons.

Taking its name from the Greek word โ€˜invisibleโ€™, the area is quiet and tranquil and largely untouched with acacia and eucalyptus trees offering shade in the summer, whilst in the early autumn, the white sand lily flower blooms right on the beach.

Aphrodite Beach – Blue Flag

A coast that is abundant in greenery.

Located in the famous coastal resort of Agios Tychonas in the Lemesos (Limassol) district, Aphrodite Beach is quiet and relaxing with a long sandy shore of pebbles and dark grey sands, and a coastal footpath lined with acacias, eucalyptus trees and oleanders.

The seawaters are clean and the coast gives way to a lovely grassy area with shade provided by further palm and eucalyptus trees.

Comprised of two parts (Governorโ€™s and Kalymnos), the first section of Governorโ€™s beach has dark grey sands and uneven surfaces, whereas the second section (Kalymnos) – which lies around 200 m west of Governorโ€™s beach – is replaced by flat ground and a long, narrow stretch of sandy coastline. Both boast calm, clean seawaters and provide a fantastic setting for walking amidst nature, as such they are popular with all, including families with small children.

Kalymnos Beach – Blue Flag

Located by Pentakomo village, about 10 km east of the main hotel district of Lemesos (Limassol), the beach of Kalymnos is part of the famous Governorโ€™s Beach, which is one of the most popular coastal areas of the island.

Whilst Governorโ€™s beach is characterized by chalk white rocks that extend into the deep blue sea and uneven surfaces, Kalymnos has flat ground and a long, narrow stretch of sandy coastline. Castella Beach, Agios Tychonas – Blue Flag

Its designated swimming area has an exceptionally wide shore, comprised of sand and pebbles. The seawaters are crystal-clear and varying shades of blue that beautifully contrast with the surrounding white hills. Windsurfing can also be enjoyed here.

Loures Beach – Blue Flag

A scenic and popular beach.

Located at the famous coastal resort of Agios Tychonas in the Lemesos (Limassol) district, Loures Beach is a scenic rocky and sandy beach with calm, clean waters and access to many facilities.

Miami Beach – Blue Flag

A beach with views of nautical sports.

Located in Agios Athanasios – the central area of Lemesos (Limassol) – Miami Beach is small in size but offers many facilities, as well as the relaxing view of athleteโ€™s canoeing, sailing and dinghy training, thanks to the two nautical clubs with premises on the beach.

The coast of dark, grey sands and calm, clean seawaters sits in the heart of the city and is surrounded by restaurants and hotels. Breakwaters protect the sea from winds, although it can become wavy in the afternoon. The beach is adjacent to the more crowded Dasoudi Beach.

Onisilos Beach – Blue Flag

Located at the famous coastal resort of Agios Tychonas in the Lemesos (Limassol) district, the beach of Onisilos is a lovely coast comprised of fine, white sands and some pebbles. Its clean seawaters are protected from winds by breakwaters.

Panagies Beach – Blue Flag

Located in the โ€˜cosmopolitanโ€™ Pyrgos area of the Lemesos (Limassol) district, the beach of Panagies has a touch of glamour, thanks to the yachts moored at the neighbouring marina, which also protects the sandy beach from south-westerly winds.

There is a large water sports centre, beach volleyball court and restaurant near to the marina, which has 250 berths and offers a full range of services.

Parekklishia Community Beach – Blue Flag

Located in the Lemesos (Limassol) district of Parekklishia, the 400-metre long Parekklishia Community Beach is one of the few beaches in the area that is abundantly sandy.

Its sands are complemented by seawaters that are clean and shallow, making it ideal for families with children, although the sea tends to get wavy in the afternoons.

Pissouri Beach – Blue Flag

The naturally stunning resort of the greater Lemesos (Limassol) area.

The beautiful Xystarokampos Beach (appx. 1 km long) is located in Chrysochous Bay, in Akamas Peninsula, Pafos (Paphos) district.
The beach has fine sands with multicoloured small pebbles and blue clean waters. Facilities on the beach include toilets, showers, changing rooms, sun beds and umbrellas. There is a hotel on the beach and some restaurants famous for their fresh fish and mediterranean cuisine.

KampostouSouliou (Souli) Beach – Blue Flag
