CCN donate 1000 masks and 1000 pairs of gloves to the China Embassy of Cyprus
On behalf of CCN, Mr. Costas Kadis, Mrs Michaella Kadi, Mr. George Kiti, and CCNโs crew, donate to the Embassy of China in Cyprus, 1000 disposable face masks and 1000 disposable pairs gloves as a symbolic gesture of support to the people of China.
The Embassy, and its Political Officer Mr. Wang, gave a warm welcome to CCNโs delegation, and applauded the thoughtful donation.
Mr. Wang thanked the delegation and expressed his conviction that the situation in China regarding the coronavirus affections, with the uncompromising support of the Government of the Republic of China, has been stabilized.
The donation took place on February 10, 2020.
CCN DONATION PUBLISHED IN CHINESE SOCIAL MEDIA
On February 10, 2020, Cyprus China Network donated anti-epidemic supplies such as surgical masks and disposable medical gloves to China.
On behalf of the Chinese embassy in Cyprus, counselor Wangsheng received the donation and expressed his sincere thanks to Cyprus china Network for its support to China’s efforts to fight the epidemic. And both sides also exchanged views on the joint efforts to prevent and control the epidemic and how to guide the public opinion on the epidemic in Cyprus.
The embassy will transfer the donated materials to the domestic competent authority through appropriate channels as soon as possible. “
CCN has been acknowledged by the China Red Cross for its humanitarian assistance to the Hubei Province of China and was presented with Letters of Gratitude.
In 10th of February, 2020, CCN has donated 1000 pairs of gloves to the China Embassy of Cyprus, to the Province when it was plagued with the pandemic.
