Revenue from tourism in February 2022 records annual increase

Revenue from tourism in February 2022 increased by €35.8 mn compared to the corresponding month of 2021.

According to the Statistical Service of Cyprus, on the basis of the results of the Passenger Survey carried out by the Statistical Service, revenue from tourism reached €39,6 mn in February 2022 compared to €3,8 mn in February 2021 and €49,5 mn in February 2020. 

For the period of January – February 2022, revenue from tourism is estimated at €67,8 mn compared to €6,6 mn in the corresponding period of 2021, and to €89,7 mn during the period of January – February 2020.
