Junior Chamber International Nicosia and Global Shapers Community Nicosia are pleased to invite you to join a panel discussion with Petros Djakouris, BeHive Founder & Curator, Luwen Zhang, PwC Senior Associate, and Costas Georgiou, Chispo Attorneys at Law International Legal Counsel.

Petros and Costas have spent four years in Beijing, the capital of China while Luwen has lived for seven years in Nicosia, Cyprus’s capital city. Petros, Costas and Luwen will share their experiences with working and living in China/Cyprus.

Speakers bio: Luwen Zhang – Tax Advisory

Luwen comes from China and has studied, worked and lived in Cyprus for 7 years. She studied Accounting at the University of Nicosia and completed her Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Cyprus. Luwen recently qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and is currently working at one of the Big 4 accounting firms in Cyprus. Luwen focuses at assisting international clients set up, operate and restructure their businesses in Cyprus.

Petros Djakouris – BeHive Founder & Curator

Petros studied Economics at Nottingham University in the UK, has been in China for four
years and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese. After working with technology startups and corporates in Beijing, London, and Nicosia, he founded and currently manages BeHive, a skills training organization that collaborates with corporate trainers, universities and companies in Beijing to enhance the professional development of college students and young professionals. Petros has facilitated and designed various corporate training programs and teambuilding activities, is a mentor at Startup Grind, and has been recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Global Shaper.
Costas Georgiou – International Legal Counsel at Chispo Attorneys at Law

As a first-generation university graduate, Costas studied Law at the University of Manchester. Since graduating, he went to Beijing where he has been based for the past 4 years. In 2017, he co-founded BeHive, a platform that helps students, recent graduates and young professionals develop career skills. Costas has worked as the first Management Trainee of a Chinese conglomerate and has been acting as an International Legal Counsel for a Chinese IP firm. He has participated in International IP Conferences in Europe and US, and was one of the speakers of CIFTIS, China’s most important services conference. His latest project, “The Chipriots – Cypriots in China” aims at bridging the cultural and business gaps between Cyprus and China.
