WHO approval of Chinese vaccines can increase global supply

Last Friday, the WHO approved China’s Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use. WHO Representative to China, Mr. Gauden Galea then published an article – WHO approval of Chinese vaccines can increase global supply. He decribes this approval as “a milestone moment” and says that “this marks a new chapter in China’s role in global public goods supply in health, building on its R&D capability and manufacturing capacity, as well as its commitment to contributing substantially to global health.” Please click here for the full text of the article.
