Acting President of Cyprus, President of the House of Representatives, Demetris Syllouris received on Thursday the Consul General of Sri Lanka, Rohana Ambagolla, whose service in the country has ended.

An announcement by the Parliament says that they discussed ways to further enhance the bilateral cooperation between the Parliaments of the two countries and how this could be better promoted due to the pandemic and the various restrictions.

Syllouris wished the Consul farewell and expressed his confidence that his successor will work with the same zeal to enhance relations between the two countries.
