The Confucius Institute at the University of Cyprus offers Chinese Language Courses
(levels: HSK 1, HSK 2, HSK 3.2, HSK 4.2, HSK 5),
as well as private courses (HSK Preparatory Courses) during Spring Semester 2021-2022.

The Confucius Institute at the University of Cyprus implements an extensive project of cultural, educational, economic and research perspectives, following cross-border cooperation between Cyprus and China. The Institute is a nonprofit organization and a joint venture between the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban), the University of Cyprus and the Beijing Institute of Education (BJIE). Its mission is to collaborate with the public sector, businesses and academia, both in Cyprus and China and to develop stronger educational, research, cultural and economic bonds among the two countries, offering a wide spectrum of programmes, events and other activities on Chinese language, culture, arts, education and business. The Institute has developed a multifaceted activity, serving entirely the objectives it had set since its establishment (2014), having been recognized in Cyprus and in the EuroMediterranean region, for its significant contribution to the further development of strong ties between the two countries with primeval cultural backgrounds. Furthermore, the Institute constitutes an official examination centre for HSK (Chinese Language Proficiency Examination).

The student is obliged to pay the fees by deposit in the CI at UCY bank account
(IBAN: CY80002001280000000502603900) or through the online payment portal JCCsmart.com in the following link: https://www.jccsmart.com/e-bill/9356197 in one of the following ways:
-Pay the whole amount of the tuition fees plus the educational material cost upon registration
-Pay 50% of the total fees upon registration plus the cost of educational material, and 50% upon the completion of the
first half of the course by the 15th of February 2022 at the latest.
As a reason for the deposit you must fill in your name and level of registration course.
Then the Proof of deposit must be sent to [email protected].
