The Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference unites the broad masses of intellectuals who dedicate their ingenuity and wisdom to governing the country, making proposals and suggestions for the development of the country.Mr. Weishan Wu, one of the most important sculptor in China, also as standing committee member of CPPCC, attended this year’s Two Sessions and offered his proposals on improving art education, strengthening cultural exchanges.He is invited today to share his idea about how an artist participates in the governing of China, what role his party (the China Democratic League) plays in the socialist democracy with Chinese Characteristics. He also proposes further cultural exchanges between China and Cyprus, especially at the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
