Episode 5: “A mother who fights for poverty alleviation with her newly-born baby” Li Yanjin, a Chinese mother went to work as a village official in China’s Sichuan Province together with her newly-born baby. While taking care of her baby, Li devotes herself to the fight against poverty in this small village with an altitude of over 2,600 meters. For recent years, the livestock husbandry has been developed in the village with Li’s help and lifted all villagers out of poverty.
