Cow milk deliveries in Cyprus up by 11.4% in October

Cow milk deliveries increased by 11.44% on an annual basis in October 2020, according to data released by the Statistical Service on Tuesday.

In addition, in the period January – October 2020 the deliveries of cow milk increased by 14.12% reaching 225,420 tons, compared to 197,520 tons in the corresponding period last year.

Specifically, according to the data, the deliveries of cow milk amounted to 22,500 tons in October 2020, compared to 20,190 tons in October last year, recording an increase of 11.44%.

In addition, the production of drinking milk from cow milk in October 2020 amounted to 4,890 tons, compared to 4,650 tons in October 2019, an increase of 5.16%.

Also, in the period January – October 2020, the production of drinking milk from cow milk decreased by 3.6%, reaching 45,890 tons, compared to 47,610 tons in the period January – October 2019.
