Retail trade in Cyprus declined both in value and in volume in January reflecting continuing restrictive measures aiming to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.According to provisional estimates published by the Statistical Service of Cyprus, the retail trade value index in January 2021 declined by 11.6% compared with January 2020 to 94.9 units (Base 2015=100).The retail trade volume index also declined by an annual 9.2% in January 2021 to 101.1 units (base 2015=100).CNA/GS/GV/2021ENDS, CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY
