The sector of investments funds in Cyprus continued its upward trend in the second quarter of 2020 with the number of reporting entities rising by 5.4% to 199 from 189 in the end of the first quarter. According to data released by the Central Bank, their assets rose by 3.5% compared with March 2020, to €5.76 billion while compared to June 2019, the investment funds’ assets marked an increase of 4.95%.
