Government employment in Cyprus rose by an annual 0.7% in September with the annual increase driven by temporary employment. According to data released by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (Cystat), in September 2021 total government employment increased by 366 persons (0.7%) compared with the respective period of 2020 and reached 52,408 persons.
