Fuel sales in Cyprus continued their downward path in January 2021 affected by restrictions aiming to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. According to data released by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (Cystat), in January 2021, the total sales of petroleum products amounted to 89,362 tonnes, recording a decrease of 31,8% compared to January 2020. Decreases were observed in the sales of motor gasoline by 34.0%, gasoil low Sulphur by 13.7% and in the provisions of aviation kerosene by 81.2%.
