The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) extended a deadline in two cases concerning Greek Cypriot properties in the Turkish-occupied part of Cyprus, allowing the parties involved to submit their views until January 27, 2020. The new extension was granted at Ankara’s request, as human rights lawyer Achilleas Demetriades learns. “A few days ago, the Court notified us that it granted a new extension of the deadline to submit views in the two cases until January 27, 2020” the lawyer said. …
