Euro area unemployment at 8.1%, EU at 7.3% and Cyprus 6.8% in January

In January 2021, the euro area seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was 8.1%, stable compared with December 2020 and up from 7.4% in January 2020 according to figures published today by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
