Total employment in the Broad Public Sector in the 1st quarter of 2021 reached 69,819 persons, according to the Cyprus Statistical Service .In a press release issued on Monday, it says that number of people employed in the General Government was 64,140 and in the Publicly Owned Enterprises and Companies 5,679.In General Government, which consists of the Government, Non-Profit Organisations and Local Authorities, total employment reached 52,644, 7,474 and 4,022 persons respectively.Employment in the Broad Public Sector increased by 556 …
