The first mission of humanitarian aid of Cyprus to the Ukrainian people is expected on Tuesday, March 8, following relevant arrangements, made in consultation with EU’s Civil Protection Mechanism. In a written statement, the Commissioner for the Citizen, Panagiotis Sentonas, says that the first package of humanitarian aid includes medical products worth €700,000, food, for the collection of which more than 40 centres across Cyprus were activated and equipment related to civil protection (tents, sleeping bags, first aid kits, etc.). It is …
