President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades condemned on Friday the conversion into a mosque of the Church of the Holy Saviour in Chora, a byzantine church in Istanbul which operates as a museum. “We strongly condemn the decision of the Turkish government to convert the Chora Church into a mosque.
