Cyprus Department of Meteorology on Thursday issued a yellow warning for strong winds.The warning is valid from 2100 hrs local time today until 1100 hrs Friday.The warning says that strong to near gale northerly winds with mean speed 6 to 7 beaufort and gusts 7 to 8 beaufort are expected to affect mainly the inland and the eastern, southern and northern coastal areas.The public is advised to be aware of debris being blown around.
