Cyprus Department of Meteorology issued an orange warning for thunderstorm which is valid from 1600 local time Monday until 2000 on Tuesday, 15th of December.According to the warning, isolated heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect the area. Shower rates may exceed 55MM per hour, with high risk of hail.Citizens are advised to be prepared for severe thunderstorms causing significant impact and protect themselves from lightning.
