The Cyprus Composite Leading Economic Index (CCLEI) recorded a year-over-year decrease of 3.9% in January 2021 reaching a level of 101.5, after the year-over-year reductions of 3.2% in December and 3.3% in November 2020 (based on the latest and revised data). According to a Press Release, issued by the University of Cyprus Economics Research Centre and Hellenic Bank, the deterioration of the CCLEI in January 2021 reflects the effects of the new restrictive measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus, …
