The German government supports the resumption of negotiations for a solution of the Cyprus problem, as well as the trilateral meeting to take place later on Monday in Berlin, between UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and the leaders of the two communities in Cyprus, namely President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci.
