The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General in Cyprus and Head of UNFICYP, Elizabeth Spehar, saluted the contribution of 26 members of the United Nations Police in Cyprus, during a Medal Presentation ceremony held on the occasion of International Peacekeepers Day. According to UNFICYP, Spehar presided over the ceremony, on 27 May, at the UN Protected Area within the buffer zone.
