Unemployment dropped to 6.3% of the Cyprus’ labour force in the fourth quarter of 2021 from 8% in the respective period of 2020, the Statistical Service of Cyprus (Cystat) has said. According to the labour force survey for Q4 2021, the number of unemployed persons amounted to 29,600 compared with 36,677 persons in the respective period of last year.
