Cyprus` Meteorology Department has issued a new “yellow level” alert for extremely high temperatures on Tuesday.In particular according to the alert between1300 and 1700 hours local time on Tuesday, “the maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 40 degrees Celsius inland and 32 degrees Celsius over the Troodos highest peaks.”The Meteorology Department warns that due to the high temperatures some health risks among vulnerable people such as the elderly and the very young are possible.CNA/EPH/2020ENDS, CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY
