The Association of Solidarity with the Chinese in Cyprus recently organized a dinner to celebrate the 75th National Anniversary of China and the 64th National Holiday of Cyprus.
The event took place at the residence of the Association’s President, Mr. Che Huali, and was held under the auspices of the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China. In his greeting to the guests, the Chinese Ambassador praised the work of the Association’s President, Mr. Che Huali, and his contribution to the cultural and business sectors. He also commended the achievements of the Association’s President, who has significantly contributed to the economic and investment sectors and further strengthened the ties between Cyprus and China.
The advisor of the Che Huali Group and wife of the Association’s President, Mrs. Judy Huali, in her speech, among other things, said the following:
“We have all gathered here to emphasize once again the deepening of the friendship between China and Cyprus. Since the establishment of the strategic partnership in 2021, cooperation between our two countries has been greatly enhanced. Now, Cypriots can travel to China without a visa, and direct flights between China and Cyprus are expected to start soon, with the signing of a memorandum of understanding for flight rights, marking another significant advancement in our relations.
It is noteworthy that China and Cyprus share the same National Holiday, which makes this celebration even more important. At this beautiful event, friends from China and Cyprus gathered to celebrate our National Holiday, which falls on the same day.
