The highest ratio of police fines to checks conducted during the last 24 hours, in search of violations of protective measures against the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, emerged in Limassol, which is almost double that of other areas of Cyprus. Specifically, the ratio of fines issued to individuals and premises’ owners in relation to the number of checks reached in Limassol 2.1%, compared to 1.3% overall.
