From this week the Chinese Embassy in Cyprus will post a series of documentaries on what is happening in China – the substantial changes to the country and its people. Comments are always welcome.

Theme 1: “The Last Mile”: China’s story of poverty alleviation

Episode 1: This is the LAST Chinese village to have joined China’s road network, which finally gains access to the outside world. The road brings local people new opportunities and creates more jobs.
