Industrial output accelerates by an annual 1.9% in January

Cyprus’ industrial output accelerated by an annual 1.9% in January 2020, Cyprus Statistical Service said on Friday.

The output for January 2020 amounted to 104.0 units (base 2015=100), marking an increase of 1.9% compared with January 2019. The Manufacturing sector rose by 2.5% compared to January 2019.

Compared with the previous month (December 2019), the industrial output index declined by 0.4% with Manufacturing marking a reduction of 0.2%, Cystat added.
