CCN Chinese Radio TV was once more present and covered the event “ONE BELT ONE ROAD INITIATIVE”,at the UClan Cyprus University.
UClan University welcomes his Excellency the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Huang Xingyuan.
The Chairman of Uclan Cyprus, Mr. Floros Voniatis, welcomed His Excellency the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Huang Xingyuan to the University Campus on 12 April, 2019.
This was part of the “ONE BELT ONE ROAD INITIATIVE”, which was initiated back in 2013 by President Xi.
The initiative is an immensely ambitious development campaign through which China wants to boost trade, stimulate economic growth and education across Asia and beyond. It hopes to do so by building massive amounts of infrastructure connecting it to countries around the globe.
The UClan University was recently officially recognised by The Ministry of Education in China.
UClan Cyprus is committed to further improve ties and relations with many Chinese Universities and because of its location, it is a very important link between China and the rest of Europe.
Both Mr. Floros Voniatis and the Ambassador gave excellent speeches and agreed on further mutual benefits for both countries.
