2023 Chinese Proficiency Competition for University Students and Adults in Cyprus
“Chinese Bridge” is a large-scale international Chinese Language competition. It has been held annually since 2002 and has attracted more than 1.5 million participants from more than 160 countries.
The competition has become the “Chinese Olympics”, which is of great interest to Chinese language learners from all over the world.
It is organized by the Center for Chinese Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation, the Education Section of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Cyprus and co-organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Cyprus.
The competition includes language competency, comprehensive aptitude, knowledge of China and Chinese cultural skills. Participants will first compete in a local competition and the winner (in case he/she is a student) will have the opportunity to represent Cyprus at the Global Finals in China and make friends across the world.
