Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for extreme high temperature for Friday. It is valid from 1300 local time until 1700.The maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 41 degrees Celsius inland and to around 33 degrees over Troodos highest peaks.The public is advised to be aware of possible health risks amongst vulnerable people e.g. the elderly and very young because of the high temperatures.CNA/KCH/GCH 2020ENDS, CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY
